Christmas Trees Back at Seattle Airport

By | December 13, 2006

Breitbart.com reports that the trees removed from the airport will be restored. Airport officials emphasized that the rabbi in question, and his organization, Chabad of Greater Seattle, never, as previously reported, request their removal.

The lawyer for Rabbi Bogomilsky stated that he has received all kinds of calls and emails, many of which apparently were inconsistent with the spirit of Christmas…which we believe means hate calls.

The airport will be working with the rabbi and other community members to develop a plan for next year. We believe perhaps that is good, as it appears the rabbi started a bit late in petitioning the airport this year.

Many airline workers decorated the ticket counters of their various airlines with their own Christmas trees. Whatever you think…the situation seems to have initially gotten out of hand and is hopefully now being resolved to the satisfaction of all parties.
