CBS New York reports that two seventeen year old girls from Queens, Cally Nikolis and Alexandra Moshouris, shot a video documenting their isolation stuck on the ground at Kennedy on a Delta flight to Greece that they never took that night. They insist they were stuck on the plane for 11 hours with little food, little water, and little information.
A spokesperson for Delta told CBS the plane never left the gate and passengers were free to get on and off, which contradicts the story. Despite witnesses, Delta, unlike Jetblue, has failed to apologize for any actions they took. The video is available through the above link., but is garbled, edited, and unclear. However, it does prove that Jetblue is not alone in needing to do something about their response to long delays.
