Last month, we berated Cheapoair for fake positive comments on our spinoff blog, Infrequent Flier in a post entitled Cheapoair Fakes Positive Comment on Site. Apparently, they didn’t get the message.

If you find a lower fare on another website and it is the exact same airline, flights, and dates email your paid booking confirmation that you made with Cheapoair.com to : feedback@cheapoair.com with the URL that you found the lower fare, and Cheapoair will reimburse $15.00 USD per traveler.
Cheapoair values your business!
Now, we appreciate a fare guarantee…although if you find a fare hundreds of dollars lower, fifteen dollars back may not seem like much of a deal. The truth is…we don’t think they are reading.

Time: October 20, 2007, 1:11 amThey are by far NOT the cheapest!..they mislead people by showing you a lower fare in the results and it is not until the ende that you see the final total. I have compared them to www.Allcheapfares.com and justairfare.com which are consolidator run sites and if you only compare the result..THEY APPEAR cheaper..when in fact they are not
Now, who is PrintnPost? We’re not sure, but thanks to the wonder of IP address lookup, we learn he/she was logged in from an address belonging to Dan Travel Inc. If you visit the All Cheap Fares website they recommend…in little tiny letters at the bottom…it advises it is run by…big surprise…Dan Travel Inc.
We are disappointed in these online travel agents. Aren’t you? Not only did they not read the post, they are trying to mislead the public. In the interests of full disclosure, we will reveal, if you did not realize it, that we are paid a small commission for everyone who clicks through our Kayak links.
We endorse Kayak(see side link) because they aren’t selling anything. They connect you through to the sites they find the information on. We may decide to endorse other products. And, even if we are biased…In the last month, our Kayak commision on 21 items purchased by clicking through to them netted us a cool $5. It helps in paying off the cost of hosting the site, but we are reasonably sure of our integrity.
In conclusion, Shame on these Organizations.
