This evening, we made an appearance at the JetBlue-Southwest Guitar Hero challenge, a battle between Morgan Johnston (@JetBlue) and Christi Day (@SouthwestAir), the two airlines’ Twitter reps.

Both put out wonderful examples of how Twitter can be used to enhance corporate communication by not only communicating the latest developments, but inviting an authorized representative of the company to participate in a dialogue with interested customers.

In the end, JetBlue triumphed over Southwest, and the rest of the night was filled with chat, refreshments, and hastily assembled Guitar Hero bands competing for free tickets. We had to leave a few minutes early and thus didn’t get to stay for the final face-off, but we commend the constestants for their enthusiasm.

We look forward to future events.
