USAToday reports that a British businessman, Alan Watts, has traded in millions of frequent flyer miles on Virgin Atlantic to travel on the world’s first commercial flight into space with Virgin Galactic, scheduled to launch service in 2009.
Test flights are planned for later this year. The Flights will cost $200,000 and require three days of training. For the regular customers, we wonder how many miles you get for a flight into orbit.
Wow, that is so cool!
Does he really get all of it for his miles, or does he have to pay for the three days of training and other things, I wonder?
