Tomorrow, Jaunted reminded us, is the two year anniversary of Virgin America. Tomorrow, the Mayor of San Francisco is even declaring it “Virgin America Day.”
There isn’t much we can say about Virgin America. They are based in San Francisco, and fly from there to Seattle, Boston, New York-JFK, Washington-Dulles, Las Vegas, Orange County, Los Angeles, and San Diego. They also fly from Los Angeles to Boston, New York-JFK, Seattle and Washington-Dulles, from Las Vegas to New York-JFK.
Virgin America’s shining moment is arguably the best in-flight entertainment system in the country, better than our most frequently used carrier, JetBlue. That includes power ports at every seat, MP3s, in-flight movies, Live TV, Food Ordering on your Seat Back, and most importantly, Wi-Fi on every plane. And they offer both an economy and first class product.
We are planning, at the end of this month, to try a flight cross-country flight on this airline. We’ll be back then with a complete review. Until then, happy birthday Virgin America.
