The head of EADS North American, Sean O’Keefe, confirmed onboard the crash that killed former Senator Ted Stevens, has survived, according to Reuters.
O’Keefe has only been the head of EADS since November, and was a longtime associate and fishing buddy of Stevens, which explains his presence onboard an aircraft with him. He was also previously NASA Administrator, during which he proposed an ambitious plan to return to the moon that congress didn’t fund.
For those of you not familiar with EADS, it is the corporation that owns Airbus.
