- Qantas announced it will increase services from New York effective August 14th to offer daily flights to Sydney via Los Angeles. The new schedule will include seven flights per week from New York to Sydney via Los Angeles. Thirty five flights per week from Los Angeles, with an additional three from June 19th-July 28th. Five weekly flights from San Francisco, three weekly flights from Honolulu, and three flights from Vancouver via San Francisco, seasonally between June 15th and August 12th.
- Horizon Air has announced that all flights operated out of Idaho Falls, Idaho, will be operated by new Q400 aircraft, with 74 or 76 seats. This new service pattern will include its existing flights to Boise and new nonstop flights to Bozeman, Montana. The schedule will include two nonstops to Boise(one continuing to San Jose, the other to Portland) and one nonstop to Bozeman(continuing to Seattle). The Q400s will replace 37-seater Q200s.
- American Airlines has opened up a Midtown Manhattan Travel Center which will replace their former center. The new location, at 360 Lexington Avenue, between 40th and 41st streets, is shared with Easy, a company that assists with passports and visas. Service centers such as this are rare in the U.S. in the current environment. The center will offer services such as:
