From the Editor
When I first started with Flight Wisdom, we had a very different conception of what it would be. At the end of this month, we celebrate our six year anniversary. The first post was dated July 29, 2006.
We started out wanting to do an information site with a blog attached, which is why the site’s URL is blog.flightwisdom.com, as opposed to just flightwisdom.com. The first post describes us as “a new site for information, advice, and links for those who wish to make the most of their travel experience at the best price.”
The tag line was shortened, but the one we’ve used since the beginning was: “News, Thoughts, and Advice on Air Travel and the Travel Experience.”
But now, that’s about to change, because what we’ve been writing about has changed, and what we’ve written about tends to vary a bit, and we’d like to get back to writing more posts…or trying to, anyway. We’ll be making some minor redesigns to the site, including the adoption of the logo we’ve been using on Twitter for the last few years.
We’ve also changed the tag line, as part of the redesign. Flight Wisdom…because “Life Has No Complimentary Baggage Allowance.”
We’d like to know what you’d like to see here, as we try to get under way once again.
