While the runways at Indianapolis Airport have remained the same, the airport experience for passengers is now completely different. They have a new terminal, completely replacing the old, as well as new approach from the local highways, and new parking facilities. The old terminal will be knocked down.

As we have not yet had a chance, check out the Cranky Flier’s coverage of the terminal, including maps showing the new approaches from the freeway. Highlights appear to include two wide and airy concourses that include a total of forty gates, adequate security checkpoints, laptop charging stations, decent shopping and concessions, and free wi-fi.
